Reflecting on our learning path and on our learning outcome can contribute to a more enriching learning experience. By focusing on our learning needs we can have an impact on our learning outcomes. In fact, metacognition is knowing what we know by reflecting on both our declarative and our procedural knowledge. According to Anderson (1976) and Winograd (1975), our declarative knowledge is knowing about something while our procedural knowldege consists of knowing how to do something.  You can do so, by answering key questions about your English learning process. 1. Which are my strengths? Reflect on the language skills you are competent and can master in English. Are you good at listening to someone in English? Can you understand an English written text? Can you interact in a conversation easily? Do you know how to write an article in a competent way?
